In a bid to make decent housing accessible and affordable, the Government of Rwanda has introduced a rent-to-own scheme aimed at low-income earners. This initiative allows tenants to pay regular rent while contributing a small additional amount toward eventually owning their homes over a 20-year period.<\/p>\n

The extra charge is calculated to cover the full cost of the property by the end of the scheme, making\"\" homeownership achievable even for those with limited financial resources.<\/p>\n
